Reflections Arts Festival

A month long Annual festival of music, dance, theatre and visual arts is held in RP to showcase the interest groups and talents for their creative expression.

Symphonie De Republic XVII
Stage Manager

Leading a team of 10 crew members, 158 performers, and leaders from six interest groups.

Presented a 2-hour symphonic performance featuring groups such as Gamelan Naga Kenchana, Dikir Barat, Chinese Ensemble, and String Ensemble.

The show included large changeovers with shifting band configurations and multimedia cues synced to each piece, making it an adrenaline-filled production.

Kancil: The Chronicles of One and Zero
Deputy and Assistant Stage Manager

Assisted in rehearsals by carefully documenting script and blocking changes, recording key scenes, and managing props and set pieces to support the creative process. Took the lead in creating the prompt book, ensuring all cues, lines, and stage directions were accurately tracked. Called the show during performances, coordinating closely with the ensemble cast and multiple departments, including Sound, Lighting, Set, Props, Costume, and Makeup, to maintain seamless communication and timing.

This hands-on experience allowed Ann to develop strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of the collaborative effort required to bring a production to life.

Flame Awards
Assistant Stage Manager

A celebratory event following the Reflections Arts Festival, featuring emcees and performances that recognized outstanding artistic contributions. Assisted in coordinating the program, managing cues, and supporting performers backstage to ensure smooth transitions between acts.

Oversaw the organization of props and set pieces, communicated with presenters and performers, and helped maintain timing and flow throughout the event. This experience strengthened my skills in live performance coordination, backstage management, and collaborative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
