An interest group in the CREATE Club (Arts and Culture), supporting productions as a Stage Management team, Ann has contributed to many shows and the nurturing of new students in 2025.

Guided by staff from The Republic Cultural Centre (TRCC), CAP produces over ten shows annually, aiming to deliver impactful and successful productions.

As Ann felt that learning on the job is not suitable for everyone in the CCA when most do not have any prior experience nor knowledge. Instead of learning basic things during production, Ann wanted students in CAP to pick up soft skills and intermediate skills more easily instead of trying to grasp the basics during such short productions.

Created comprehensive documentation of training plans and carried out alongside Advisors. Ann planned a introductory workshop that included Work Safety, Basic Theatre Knowledge, Introduction to Live Sound and Lighting. Equipping the students with knowledge that will help them in productions.

Ann was deeply involved in both the administrations and operations behind the scenes of Act 1, Our People, Our Diversity.

 Ann also dealt with confidential information of all performers and production team, consisting of 381 performers and 18 staff. 

Being the main point of contact for SAF,  80 performer cluster (Bohemian), and Interest Group IC (PACT).

RP Open House 2025 and CREATE Homecoming

Performances by the CREATE Club Interest Groups showcase RP's vibrant student community and culture.

As the Stage Manager, Ann oversaw and managed 20 live performances over the course of 3 days, featuring 582 performer appearances. Directed 8 stage crews and 3 artist liaison officers.

It was Ann's first non theatre experience as a Stage Manager, learning on the job was thrilling and exciting on an event this size. Exposed to different people with vastly different working styles and communication, Ann had to adapt and be resourceful. Managing the bigger stage, in a venue where there is nothing to hide from the audience, it was a memorable experience finding inspiration from dance, music, and the rich culture.

Stage Manager

Oversaw two stages within the Agora Hall area, each showcasing a diverse lineup of Music and Dance performances. Coordinated closely with performers and stage crew to ensure smooth transitions and timely cues throughout the events. Worked alongside personnel from the Office of Student and Graduate Affairs to organize the award ceremonies, managing logistics and supporting the flow of each segment. 

This role allowed Ann to develop strong skills in multitasking, event coordination, and communication, ensuring that both performances and ceremonies were executed seamlessly for an engaging audience experience.
